Throwing Toys

Safety is a top priority when throwing toys or when undergoing any sort of activity at all. When using our throwing toys, be sure to have plenty of space to play to minimise any sort of collisions or accidents. Look out for obstacles, such as trees, steps, chairs or anything on the floor that could act as a trip hazard. You’ll want to remove all hazards out of the way and ensure a open area for throwing. You’ll want to make sure that you are also wearing appropriate footwear with good grip to prevent slipping and falling as you run to catch the flying toy. If you want to be extra safe, you can also wear protective gear, such as helmets, elbow pads, knee pads, etc.

While some throwing toys are designed specifically for outdoor use, we have some that can be used indoors too. When using throwing toys indoors, again, be sure to ensure you have plenty of space to prevent colliding or tripping over any hazards and causing injury, or knocking anything over and causing damage! Soft and lightweight flying toys are decent options for indoor use, as you won’t have to worry about them knocking things over or damaging your property inside your home. You’ll want to supervise your children closely to ensure they don’t trip over or hurt themselves amidst of all the joy, but overall, our indoor throwing toys come in handy for providing hours of entertainment on those colder and rainy days. 

Improving your throwing accuracy with toys like frisbees, Funslinger, flying discs or any other flying toys comes with plenty of practice and refining your technique. First of all, make sure you are gripping the toy correctly, specifically focusing on stability and control. You’ll also want to consider your stance, to allow for good balance and positioning as you throw to maximise your accuracy. All in all, however, practice makes perfect, so meet up with friends as much as possible and really get stuck into your throwing activities.
